Return & Refund Policy – Handmade Wooden Games

1. Eligibility for Returns

  • Returns are accepted only for items that arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect.
  • Due to the handcrafted nature of wooden products, slight variations in color, grain, texture, or finish are not considered defects.
  • Requests for returns must be made within 48 hours of delivery.

2. Unboxing Requirement

  • Customers must record a clear unboxing video at the time of opening the package.
  • This video is mandatory for verifying claims related to damage, missing items, or incorrect products.
  • Claims without proper unboxing proof may not be accepted.

3. Return Process

  • To initiate a return, contact customer support at nyie@nyie.in with:
  • Order details
  • Description of the issue
  • Photos and unboxing video evidence
  • Once approved, instructions for return shipping will be provided.
  • Items must be returned in original packaging with all components included.

4. Refund Policy

  • Refunds are processed only after the returned item is received and inspected.
  • If approved, refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5–7 business days.
  • In certain cases, a replacement may be offered instead of a refund.

5. Non-Returnable Items

  • Products that have been used, altered, or damaged after delivery are not eligible.
  • Custom-made or personalized items cannot be returned unless defective.
  • Returns requested after the specified time window will not be accepted.

6. Shipping Charges

  • If the return is due to a verified defect or error, return shipping costs will be covered.
  • For all other cases, customers may be responsible for return shipping fees.

7. Cancellations

  • Orders can only be canceled before they are shipped.
  • Once dispatched, cancellation is not possible.

  • Handmade wooden products may naturally develop minor changes over time due to environmental factors.
